The Founder’s Path: From his early days growing up in San Antonio and moving to Boerne for high school to graduating from Texas A&M University, Shane Hans's journey has been one of continuous evolution. After a successful 25-year career in IT sales—working closely with major clients like the City of San Antonio, CPS Energy, and the UT System—Shane’s long-standing passion for building and design steered him onto a new path.

A Legacy in the Making: The world of construction was not unfamiliar to Shane; he
spent his formative years on job sites alongside his father, Buddy Hans—a master
carpenter and electrician. This early exposure laid a solid foundation of skills and a
deep understanding of what it takes to construct durable, long-lasting structures. It was
here, amid the sounds of saws and the smell of fresh timber, that Shane’s passion for
building truly took root.

Core Values: Today, as the head of Ermetica Builders, Shane brings more than just
technical expertise to his work. He embodies the values of integrity, transparency, and
honesty—principles he regards as the cornerstone of every project undertaken by his
team. With a fervent commitment to Building Science and ongoing education, Shane
ensures that Ermetica Builders remains at the forefront of the construction industry,
pioneering new techniques and embracing innovative practices that set the company
